How to Make a Blog (And Earn from It): Guide for Beginners

You heard that many people around the globe nowadays are becoming successful in blogging and making money from it. Because of that you start dreaming to be like them also. You wish upon a star that one day you will become a celebrity blogger. Is that impossible? Of course not.  It is not as easy as ABC even if you ask those successful bloggers. To be successful in blogging, you need hard work, perseverance and a lot of research.

Okay, you want to write a blog but you do not have any idea how to start, then, the book written by Aki Libo-on and published by Bookware Publishing, is made for you. This was based from the blogging experience of the author who works as a web content writer for three years. So, we can rely that she knows what she is talking about. And the good thing is she used some references to validate his opinion.

There are many articles about blogging that you can find in the internet, but for me, this book is special. If I am not mistaken, this is the first printed book about blogging in the Philippines. I already saw a blogging book but it was published in the US.

Aki’s book is very insightful and you will learn a lot although it consists of only 74 pages. It is brief, concise and so easy to understand. This is divided into seven chapters:

-Becoming a blogger
-Getting Started
-Publishing Your Posts
-Promoting Your Blog
-So, You Want to be a Blogger
What should you learn from this book?  Aside from how to create blog in an instant, you will also learn how to incorporate keywords, how to boost your traffic or views, how to choose a niche for your blog and how to improve your blog posts. This book also tackles the importance of link building and social marketing to promote your blog.

But please if you want to be a blogger, do not blog just for money. Do not make it as your primary goal. The most important thing is, you must have a passion for writing and you love what you do, because, chances are, when you do not get what you expected you will only be disappointed.
